I have been spoiled by these hooks. They have an ergonomic handle that's so comfortable. And the hook, itself, goes all the way through, rather than stopping just inside the handle, which gives it a little more stability to allow it to last longer. aka, the hook won't fall out after a year of use!

Loops & Threads is the Michael's Arts & Crafts store generic. Like the name of the yarn says, it's really really soft. It has really nice stitch definition and works up so easily. I see this working well for household items, blankets, scarves, and hats.

Clicker Counter

I use my clicker counter to keep track of how many rows I've done. At the end of each row, I click it and keep going!

Straight Yarn Needles

Blunt, straight yarn/tapestry needles are essential crochet tools. I appreciate that there are multiple sizes as well as a little tube to keep them all together.

Curved Yarn Needles

The curved end of these needles helps get around some stitches, giving you a little more flexibility than the straight needles. I really like using these for amigurumi and very short ends.
